Tunes at Noon is back for its 12th year! Tunes at Noon is a FREE summer concert series on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm in Grand Parade.
Todd Googoo is an up-and-coming hip hop artist with a hard raw style driven flow. His destinctive voice and honest lyrics draw inspiration from his youth growing up in Wekoqmaq First Nation, Nova Scotia, a small reservation in Cape Breton Island. He was nominated for "Indigenous Artist of the Year" in 2017 and 2018 at the Music Nova Scotia Awards and nominated for "Indigenous Artist of the Year" at the 2019 East Coast Music Awards.
He has shared the stage with other artists in Canada like Classified, Merkules, Joey Stylez, Drezus, Winnipeg Boyz (formally most), City Natives, DjIV, Mitchell Bailey, J-Bru, Fortunato, Quake Matthews, Universal Soul, Robbie G, Jyay, SOUL, Ghettosocks, Prada West, Evil Ebinezer, and has opened for RiFF RAFF (Houston, Texas), A-F-R-O aka all flows reach out (Los Angeles), DJ Mr.Green (New York City), Murs of StrangeMusic (South Central), Brother Ali of Rhymesayers entertainment (Minnesota), Ace Hood (Miami), and Joyner Lucas (New England). Inspired by '90s hip hop and current hip hop music.
