DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN New Year’s Eve Show
DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN is a series of vivid light shows and installations around Downtown Halifax.
Check out the New Year’s Eve light projection show on the former Halifax Memorial Library building at Grafton Park, which will run between December 30 - January 2 from 5 to 11 pm (with the exception of December 31 when the show will run to 1 am).

Halifax Regional Municipality’s New Years Eve 2024
The annual live New Year’s Eve celebrations will be taking place on Sunday, December 31 from 11 pm - 1 am at the Emera Oval.
This is the first time the municipal New Year's Eve concert and national broadcast are taking place at the Oval.

Halifax Transit
Halifax Transit will be offering free, extended bus and Alderney ferry service from 6 pm onwards on Sunday, December 31.
This is in support of M.A.D.D. Halifax Regional Chapter, and volunteers will be at the Halifax Ferry Terminal accepting monetary donations.

- This event is free and open to the public
- They are also collecting new, clean socks to support the Mobile Outreach Health Services and foot care clinics organized by the North End Community Health Centre
